Militias loot ‘50mi pounds’ in goods from C Darfur camp

Armed militias looted the market of a Central darfur camp on Monday and took with them at least 50 million Sudanese pounds worth of commodities ($11.3mi). A camp’s coordinator said the insurgents “are well-known” to authorities and security services.Four gunmen raided the Khamsa Degaig camp in Zalingei and also stole donkeys, cash and 100 loafs of bread after beating a baker, sources told Radio Dabanga.
