Merchant trader shot dead

A renowned merchant trader in South Darfur, Muhammad El-Tayeb Ajabna was shot dead on Wednesday morning, by two armed men traveling on donkey and camel. Sources said that the trader was traveling from Abu Jabra to Al Mukuk, carrying 100 million Sudanese Pounds to buy goods from the market for trade. Allegedly knowing that he would be taking this trip, the two armed men, waited for him, shot him and stole his money. He was 5 km from Abu Jabra, the witness told Radio Dabanga.
