Lawyer rejects re-detention of JEM members

April 1 - 2010 KHARTOUM

Defence lawyer Adam Baker rejected the announcement of Amin Hassan Omar on the re-detention of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) defendants. The members had been found innocent or were included in the presidential pardon that followed the framework peace agreement signed between JEM and the government.
