Increase in secondary school exams in South Darfur

The total number of students who will take a state exam in South Darfur is increased by twenty percent. This year 28968 students will participate in the exams. The Minister of Education in South Darfur, Abdulrahim Abu Rusha confirmed that the security situation is stable and arrangements are made with the authorities to secure the exams.

The government of South Darfur has taken preparations to host 726 students from East Jebel Marra in Nyala for the examinations. Rusha told Radio Dabanga that the security situation reduced the number of students from Sheiria and Wahda localities adding there are 53 examination centres in the state excluding East Jebel Marra.
