Gunmen abduct ‘town’s greatest merchant’ in Central Darfur

Six pro-government militias abducted on Sunday evening a merchant inside his own house in Central Darfur.Abbekar Yusuf, known as “Thur’s greatest businessman”, was taken to an unidentified area and sources believe the kidnapping is financially motivated.Speaking to Radio Dabanga, witnesses said that in spite of being notified about the kidnapping authorities “did not move”. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, witnesses said that in spite of being notified about the kidnapping authorities “did not move”.
