A large fire raged through the livestock market in Nyala on Saturday killing one person and many cattle along with destroying three homes. The estimated losses are half a billion Sudanese pounds said market seller Zakaria Adam to Radio Dabanga. ‘It broke out at 10:00 and lasted well into the afternoon, destroying animal feed, crops along with wood’, added Adam.
