EU, Unamid convey their best wishes for Eid El Fitr

The fasting month of Ramadan is coming to an end and the Eid El Fitr feast will start soon, most probably on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Ambassador Tomas Ulicny, Head of the EU Delegation in Sudan, extended his “best wishes to Muslims across Sudan” in a press statement this morning. Before his final return to Khartoum, from where he is leaving for the next diplomatic
assignment, the EU diplomat extended a message to the Muslims of Sudan: “As Ramadan
ends we open a new page with ourselves and with all those around us. To continue the spirit
of giving and caring, we remember our joint obligation to uphold the dignity of every human
being in peace, dialogue, respect and tolerance.”
