Elderly woman raped in West Kordofan
A herder raped a senior woman (68) in West Kordofan on Friday.
A relative of the victim reported to Radio Dabanga that a herder ambushed the woman when she was working on her farm in the area of El Hamboul, south of Lagawa town.
“He beat her badly on all parts of her body before raping her,” he said. “She is now in the hospital, not only suffering from the effects of the rape, but also from the beating.”
The incident was reported to the police of Lagawa.
