Economic measures see inflation jump in Darfur, Sudan

Inflation in Sudan rose by 9.89 points in November 2016 to 29.49 points, compared to 19.60 points in October.

The rise coincides with the economic measures taken by the government by raising fuel and medicine prices by removing subsidies.

The statement said that South Darfur has recorded the highest rise in inflation by 17.12 per cent.
