The personnel of the only hospital in Adila decided on the strike in protest against the non-payment of salaries.

The strike has led to the closure of the hospital, leaving the patients no place to turn to. Their relatives appealed through Radio Dabanga to the federal and East Darfur governments to solve the problem of the delayed salaries “as quickly as possible”.
