East Darfur farmer detained by security agents

Agents of the National intelligence and Security Service (NISS) held a farmer in East Darfur on Friday.
The spokesman for the Darfur Displaced and Refugees Association, Hussein Abusharati, told Radio Dabanga that NISS agents detained a 35-year-old displaced farmer from his farm in Yassin locality.
“They seized Adam Abdelkarim while he was tilling his farm in the area of Salia and took him with them,” he said. “The reasons for the move are unclear to anyone who knows him.”
