Charity provides bail for release of 47 inmates in Darfur

Authorities of the state of South Darfur released 47 inmates from a prison in Nyala after a charity paid their expenses and financial penalties. The men were released on bail of 133 thousand pounds with the support of Sheikh Eid Al Thani Foundation. The director of the prison in Nyala, Police Brigadier Rizak Kabashi said that the release of inmates took place following a careful study on a case-by-base basis by the Office of Social Work, in order to ensure that each release complies with the regulations and laws.
