Border Guards injure woman in rape attempt
A woman was wounded in the Shangil Tobayi when gunmen opened fire on a group of seven women who refused to comply with an attempt to rape them. The women were on their way to collect firewood outside Shangil Tobaya camp. The wounded woman was brought to El Fasher to receive medical treatment. Police arrested two of the perpetrators who were part of the Border Guards, a government militia.
