Sudan security detains man at North Darfur market

Security forces detained a man at the Um Hurouf market, west of Ailliet Jarelnabi, in North Darfur, on Monday.
One of his relatives told Dabanga that 17 security agents in a Land Cruiser raided the market, held Mohamed Jibril Arja, and took him to an unknown destination.

Security forces detained a man at the Um Hurouf market, west of Ailliet Jarelnabi, in North Darfur, on Monday.

One of his relatives told Dabanga that 17 security agents in a Land Cruiser raided the market, held Mohamed Jibril Arja, and took him to an unknown destination.

He said that the family went to the offices of the security service in Ailliet, where they were told that they did not know him.

The relative appealed to human rights organisations to act and establish the whereabouts of Arja.
