American investigative organisation The Sentry<\/em> published a new Sentry Alert yesterday, alleging that a network linked to the leadership of Sudan\u2019s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) holds a $24 million property portfolio in Dubai, according to a new investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report states that \u201ca network of family members, sanctioned individuals, and entities linked to the leadership of\u00a0Sudan\u2019s brutal Rapid Support Forces<\/a>\u00a0(RSF) militia owns a $24 million real estate portfolio in Dubai consisting of over 20 properties.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaked records show that several of the properties are located close together. The report says \u201cthe findings suggest that, in addition to reportedly supporting the militia with weapons and mercenaries, the United Arab Emirates<\/a>\u00a0(UAE) provides a safe haven for the RSF leadership\u2019s family and wealth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators identify a company linked to the RSF, Prodigious Real Estate Management Supervision Services, as a key buyer. The report notes that it purchased \u201ctwo luxury six-bedroom villas for a total of just over $5 million\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Radio Dabanga previously reported<\/a>\u00a0The Sentry\u2019s\u00a0<\/em>investigation in October 2025, on the \u201cparamilitary-industrial complex\u201d concerning the RSF\u2019s reliance on a multinational network of companies, including firms in Dubai, to turn conflict gold into hard currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest investigation also finds that \u201cmembers of the Dagalo family have rented and bought properties in the same gated community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It further links sanctioned individuals to the property network. Mustafa Ibrahim Abdel Nabi Mohamed was described as \u201ca financial adviser to the RSF and the Dagalo family,\u201d while Taha Osman Ahmed Elhussein was said to be \u201cmanaging the relationship between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and regional actors in order to advance the RSF\u2019s warfighting efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report concludes that \u201cthe total value of the property portfolio owned by family members, Prodigious, and the\u00a0sanctioned individuals<\/a>\u00a0is approximately $24 million, not including additional rental holdings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authors add that there is \u201csubstantial evidence that Dubai\u2019s property market continues to demonstrate significant strategic deficiencies\u201d in oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dagalo family said the claims relate to \u201cprivate property holdings\u201d with \u201cno demonstrated lawful or legitimate connection to any wrongdoing,\u201d and insisted their assets were obtained through \u201clegitimate private-sector commercial activity for generations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They added that any suggestion otherwise would be \u201cfalse, misleading, and defamatory.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
