The official said that the state government has arranged for weekly deliveries of fuel to prevent any shortage of petroleum products. He also blamed authorities whom he did not identify for causing the shortage of gasoline recently. Earlier this month, prices of food and fuel rose sharply in Nyala. The mounting fuel prices had prompted a number of city residents to go about on foot.
