Fata Borno is a camp for conflict-displaced people located north-west of El Fasher.<!--break--> The residents protested a decision to replace two camp leaders (<em>omdas<\/em>), the Omda Ibrahim Ismail and the Omda Ibrahim Dod. The former, who was camp president, was replaced by Abakr Mohamed Nur and the latter, who was camp secretary, was replaced by Mohammed Yusuf Adam.<\/p>\n<p>Another 20 elders (<em>sheikhs<\/em>) of the camp were replaced by other people whom the protesters accused of serving the National Congress Party. One of the protesters who spoke to Radio Dabanga described the decision as a step toward the dismantling of the camp.
