The ceremony was organized by the Women&#8217;s Union at the camp, with the help of some humanitarian organizations. <!--break--><\/strong>The celebration included traditional dancing and the showing of a number of plays, with messages to fight against harmful traditional practices and encourage adult education. Speaking over Radio Dabanga, one of the refugee women said she wished on the occasion that peace would prevail in Darfur so that they can return to their homes.
