Some food items retained their earlier value such as sheep meat which is still at 16 pounds per kilo and beef which is at 14 pounds.&nbsp; Sugar costs 2.5 SDG for a pound. Another thing which saw an increase in its price is tomato paste, now worth 17 per pound.<\/p>\n<p>Traders fear that they will have to shut down their shops because the rains could lead to further increases in prices.
