Security forces in Nyala arrested eleven youths from the youth camp in Kalma camp. They were taken not taken to the official prison near the Stock Exchange in Nyala, but to a secret prison instead.The Sheikh of Kalma camp investigated the incident thoroughly. He told Radio Dabanga that habitants of the displacement camp witnessed how security forces were at the entrance of the Youth Camp, where they questioned several youths, and seemingly, at random detained the eleven youths.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lately, in the camps security has tightened, harassments increase, also affecting women, who leave the camps to work in Nyala. The Sheikh calls on UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon to address these misconducts, to put pressure on the government, and to demand a quick release of the detainees.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
