Some leaders of Fato Brno Camp in North Darfur, and Kalma Camp in South Darfur indicated that they support the Doha Agreement, that was signed last Thursday, 14 July.  Salah Abdulla, a leader of the displaced of Kalma Camp, told Radio Dabanga, that the agreement provided for compensation and saw to the expulsion of settlers, who have occupied new territories. He added, that there has been enough bloodshed. Also, he explained, that it did not make any difference, to which groups, or the government, the dead people belonged, as he considered them all children of displaced persons.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Suleiman Abdullah Ahmad, from Fato Brno Camp, told Radio Dabanga, that they supported the Doha Agreement, because the situation at the camps cannot be sustained, any longer. He added , that the humanitarian situation, as well as social and cultural aspects in the camps, are terrible. The Sheikh stressed, that he had received reassurance, on how mediation and the implementation of the agreement would be carried out. Sheikh Suleiman believed, therefore, that they must give peace a chance.<\/p>\n
