{"id":190185,"date":"2011-08-22T22:31:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-22T22:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dabangasudan.preview.websight.nl\/food-shortage-in-eastern-chad-camp\/"},"modified":"2011-08-22T22:31:00","modified_gmt":"2011-08-22T22:31:00","slug":"food-shortage-in-eastern-chad-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dabangasudan.org\/en\/all-news\/article\/food-shortage-in-eastern-chad-camp","title":{"rendered":"Food shortage in eastern Chad camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>537 new refugees in the Gaga shelter haven\u2019t received rations since June<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>537 Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad\u2019s Gaga camp have not received their food rations since last June, a sheikh in the camp told Radio Dabanga on Monday.<!--break-->Sheikh Mohammed Ismail said, \u201cThe United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has asked the veteran refugees in the camp to share their food rations with the new arrivals until August, which should have been the next date for replenishing the food stocks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, the refugees were surprised when the UNHCR asked them to prolong that initiative until October.
