Says Khartoum orchestrated bombings in Upper Nile state which killed seven people<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Sudan’s president Salva Kiir Mayardit accused the Sudanese government of bombing his country’s Upper Nile state on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Salva Kiir said that the bombing in Upper Nile state, which shares its borders with the North’s Blue Nile state, led to the deaths of seven people.<\/p>\n

In a speech addressing the armed forces of South Sudan on Wednesday, Kiir said, \u201cBashir’s statements, about South Sudan supporting rebels, that he made during his Eid Al-Adha prayers in Kurmuk is an attempt to escape from the problems faced by Khartoum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bashir had accused his Southern counterpart of supporting rebel movements in the North.<\/p>\n

Kiir said in his address, \u201cWhenever Bashir faces a crisis, he wears his uniform and goes dancing with his troops, although he claims to have been an elected president.\u201d He affirmed that Bashir’s accusation of the South’s in the conflict in Sudan are unfounded.<\/p>\n

Kiir asked Bashir to \u201csit down\u201d with his people and resolve internal issues.<\/p>\n
