The assistant Secretary-General of the Popular Congress Party Dr. Ali Al-Hajj Muhammad described the participation of the Democratic Unionist Party-Mainstream and the son of Sadiq al-Mahdi in the government as no solution to the multiple crisis in Sudan. In an interview with Radio Dabanga Dr. Ali Al-Hajj said that the participation came in the framework of solving the crisis of the leaders of the Khartoum regime and the party and not the crisis in Sudan. He also stated that the participation reminds people of the meeting between the two in the last century which he claimed resulted in a disaster for Sudan, adding that participation will not prolong the life of the system, but weaken it.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Dr. Ali Al-Hajj Muhammad said that the participation of Democratic Unionist Party-Mainstream and the son of Sadiq al-Mahdi in the government dropped all the maneuvers and masks that were worn by the parties in the previous time. He stated that the participation of both parties has crystallized the vision portrayed to the opposition forces and to all Sudanese people. He also stated that the move will be a catalyst for the people and opposition forces to overthrow the regime.<\/p>\n
