Many inhabitants of the village, and some from further a field, had gathered for the wake as customary to console the bereaved. Using weapons, the militia stole the camels, horses and donkeys that people had traveled on. Witnesses said they even took the mattresses and shoes of people at the wake. In total they gathered over 300 sheep, cattle and camels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">The militia were reported as moving on to the villages of Muhammad Ali, Durma and Jamah where they allegedly stole hundreds more livestock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">The chief of the locality Muhammad Saleh Mandi told Radio Dabanga that he reported this activity to the police and local government.
