The Sudanese air force bombed North Darfur for a second day, Salahuddin Ahmed Jadallah President of the Revolutionary United Front said today.<\/p>\n

No people were killed, but large numbers of livestock and water resources were destroyed.<\/p>\n

Government distributing weapons<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jadallah also accused the government of distributing more than 4000 pieces of artillery to groups in Sidir, Mulawi and Ba’ashin areas in North Darfur to destabilize the areas west of Yama.<\/p>\n

He appealed to the groups ‘to put down their arms and not be dragged into the government’s agenda of encouraging citizens to fight each other.’<\/p>\n

LJM says it destroyed an army camp<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sudan Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) said that it destroyed a Sudanese army camp in South Yassin area, South Darfur today.<\/p>\n

Spokesman of the LJM, Mubarak Muhammad Adam told Radio Dabanga that clashes with the army started 5 km away from Um Heirat.<\/p>\n

The government forces retreated to their camp where the LJM destroyed the garrison, and confiscated their weapons and equipment.<\/p>\n

Radio Dabanga tried to contact the spokesman for the Sudanese army but received no response.<\/p>\n
