Three girls between the ages of 14 and 17 were raped on Monday by armed men in Tabet area of North Darfur.<\/p>\n

The girls ventured out of the camp to collect firewood when they were attacked and raped by the men. They were found in a bad state, said a relative of one of the girls to Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n

Relatives reported the case to the government’s central reserve forces who refused to track down the attackers who witnesses say fled to the Shangil Tobaya area.<\/p>\n

The witness said the girls state is deteriorating as there is no hospital in the area they can visit for treatment.<\/p>\n

Two girls from Amer Nakol camp were also raped by armed men in West Darfur on Monday.<\/p>\n

Gunmen traveling on horses attacked the girls as they were traveling back from Saraf camp to Amer Nakol repeatedly raping them, said a witness.<\/p>\n

The case was not reported to police as they reportedly fail to respond to incidents.<\/p>\n

The witness said the girls are being treated locally and appealed to local authorities to stop gunmen from attacking displaced people and bring them to justice.<\/p>\n
