The Sudan Revolutionary Front has approved a memorandum of association and set seven goals including; toppling the National Congress and changing the regime, unifying and strengthening the efforts of Sudanese political forces and civil society forces.<\/p>\n
The Front said it aims to establish a state that respects human rights as defined by national and international laws, to establish a federally decentralised system of government that distributes authority and resources to different levels, along with forming a transitional government of national unity to undertake the functions of maintaining security and order for all the Sudanese people.<\/p>\n
It will also set up a transitional constitution.<\/p>\n
The Front will also prioritise restructuring the civil service and the regular forces, the judiciary and other institutions and organs, along with promptly handing over the perpetrators of war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity to the International Criminal Court.<\/p>\n
To achieve the goals aimed at changing the regime, the Front said it would follow four means: mass and political mobilisation, finding a comprehensive peaceful solution and the armed struggle along with regional and international solidarity through diplomatic means.<\/p>\n
Abul Qasim El-Haj, spokesman for the front told Radio Dabanga that the coalition held its third meeting in the period between May 28 \u2013 June 1, in which the association statute, rules and regulations governing the work of the various sectors of the Front were approved. <\/p>\n
