This road connects Khartoum and Darfur, but has by far not been completed.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bushra, the funds should be returned to the Ministry of Roads and Bridges. The ministry can than seek for other companies that can complete the El Ingaz El Gharbi highway, as well as repairs of the Nyala-El Fasher road and the Nyala-Kass road.<\/p>\n<p>The MP said in a press statement that during a tour to the area they found large gaps in segments in the El Ingaz El Gharbi Road and urged the federal government to raise funds for the road.<\/p>\n<p>In the past years, the Shiriyan El Shimal (Northern Artery) company received funds for the construction of the road.<\/p>\n<p>During a Darfur People Conference, the company&#39;s chairman, El Haj Atta El Manan, suggested the Darfuri themselves could construct 100 kilometres of the road in the region, and they would be payed from the company&#39;s fund. In addition, the company would provide 200 billion Sudanese Pound for charity projects in Darfur.
