He added that Khartoum's regime did not take the feelings of Muslims into consideration on the first day of Eid al-Adha; confronting them with murder and displacement, leading to increased suffering of the people in Nuba Mountains, he added to Radio Dabanga in this regard. On another note, Lodi said that an attack by SPLM-N troops inside the city of Kadugli on Tuesday October 23, left 25 government troops killed and injured. In addition, the troops managed to destroy some of the army's military equipment and vehicles. Lodi also disclosed, the killing of seven and injuring of 25 members of pro-government militias in a battle in Jebel al-Leery on Tuesday.
