He said the stop has caused an increased spread of malaria and other diseases among the displaced, in addition to numerous cases of malnutrition.<\/p>\n<p>The sheikh appealed to WFP to send a team to Nertety and start the process so the displaced can receive food rations. WFP has put the re-registration as a condition for receiving food rations, which some displaced persons initially refused.
