An unidentified armed group kidnapped 15 employees of a poly Chinese company for bridges and roads working on the Western Salvation Road section of Umm Kadada, Kuma locality, North Darfur, last Saturday, 12 January.<\/p>\n

Sources added to Radio Dabanga that three of the company\u2019s vehicles were seized on the same occasion, at about 35 kilometers from the city of Kuma.<\/p>\n

Kuma locality\u2019s commissioner, Mohamed Suleiman Rabeh announced in a press statement that four of the kidnapped employees are Chinese nationals and the other 11 are Sudanese.  <\/p>\n

He revealed that the one of the Chinese employees is an engineer and the other three are machine operators.<\/p>\n

The commissioner said that some of the 11 Sudanese nationals are also engineers, including Saif Yazal Abdel Majid, Amir Salem, Mudathir Abd al-Mahmoud, Alhadi Salah, Abdullah Bushra Abdul Rahman and Awad Abdul Rahman Tarig.<\/p>\n

Last week Radio Dabanga reported<\/a> that gunmen driving three Land Cruisers stole two vehicles of a Chinese company in Jebel Margabg, west of Zalingei, Central Darfur.<\/p>\n

Two Chinese nationals who work for the company building bridges and roads between Zalingei and El-Geneina were occupying the car and released one day later.<\/p>\n

Following the incident, the company decided to terminate its operations in the area and withdrew its employees and machinery to Zalingei and El-Geneina.<\/p>\n
