The Sudanese security services arrested a student from Darfur prior to his university\u2019s examinations term on Monday \u201cforcing him to miss them out and fail another year\u201d, sources told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Osman Moussa, enrolled at the University of Sharjah Nile level four, is also the media secretary of the Darfur Students Association and a human rights activist.<\/p>\n

Moussa had been previously arrested on 17 December 2012 from inside a bus, also just before his examinations and was not released until after that period. According to sources, the student was detained for a long period of time and was kept in an \u201cunknown location\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Darfur Bar Association condemned the arrest calling it \u201cunacceptable\u201d and warned this will lead to consequences. They are preparing a \u201cgreat campaign in solidarity\u201d with Moussa.<\/p>\n

As it appears, the student is suffering from physical and psychological complications caused by the torture he has been subjected to, sources told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n
