Fed-up with the increased frequency of armed attacks in Nyala, its residents are demanding South Darfur\u2019s authorities to boost security provision in the city and protect their lives and properties.<\/p>\n
The city saw three different incidents in the last few days in which two people were killed and the director of a Qatar charity agency was attacked inside his house, sources told Radio Dabanga. <\/p>\n
The first incident happened on Monday at the Sedal Ali neighborhood of South Darfur\u2019s capital, in which gunmen opened fire on a young man killing him on the spot, they recounted.<\/p>\n
In the second event, a civilian was shot dead by unidentified perpetrators near his house in a Nyala neighborhood that is resided by several police officers, witnesses said.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday three masked gunmen entered the house of the director of a Qatar charity located in a central district in Nyala. The perpetrators tied the victim up and looted his home, mobile phone and fled in his vehicle, according to sources.<\/p>\n
