Darfur rebels strongly denied having any links with the \u201cgrievances\u201d of the breakaway faction that signed a peace deal with the government of Sudan on Monday.<\/p>\n
In addition, Sudan Liberation Movement led by Abdel Wahid (SLM-AW) said the Arab splinter faction \u201cnever raised questions about separating after the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) was formed\u201d.<\/p>\n
SRF, a coalition of four rebel groups fighting to topple the Khartoum government and implement a secular regime in Sudan, was formed in late 2011.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat is happening was created by the system and by the security forces, which are trying to promote a pseudo peace process.<\/p>\n
They are trying to weaken rebel groups by pretending they are splitting up\u201d, SLM-AW military spokesman Mustafa Tambour told Radio Dabanga on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The breakaway faction called \u201cDarfur Front for Injustice Rebuttal\u201d is reportedly led by Badur Abdulrahman Guenov.<\/p>\n
They say Abdel Wahid does not have a genuine will to arrive at a peaceful solution for the Darfur crisis, adding the SLM-AW has fallen prey to foreign powers and turned into a racist movement, Sudan Tribune reports.<\/p>\n
Members of the Darfur Front for Injustice Rebuttal further said that their understandings with the government of Sudan has addressed the root causes of the crisis and offered adequate solutions for it.<\/p>\n
According to the chairman of the ministry of defense and the national intelligence and security service joint liaison committee for contact with rebel groups Major General Jamal Omer, the splinter faction comprises 10 field commanders, 500 armed soldiers and 16 Land Cruisers,<\/p>\n
He said the dissidents would be integrated into the Sudanese armed forces (SAF) and into other regular forces.<\/p>\n
