Two herders were injured after pro-government militias looted dozens of their cows in Central Darfur. Sources believe they belong to the same group that looted Deleig\u2019s market last Sunday, who were said to be Abu Tira and border guards.<\/p>\n

The dozens of cows were looted on Tuesday afternoon in the area Beja area, North of Deleig in Central Darfur. Witnesses said the local acting commissioner formed a joint committee with tribes from the area to search for the stolen cows and return them to their owner, Mohamed Nur Yahiya.<\/p>\n

Radio Dabanga has previously reported that pro-government militias have been stealing between 20 and 30 cattle “on a daily basis” in Katayla locality in South Darfur, according to sources.<\/p>\n

In Bindisi, south of Deleig, witnesses are reporting about a large displacement of civilians due to recent tribal clashes in the vicinity and to the large presence of \u201coutlaws, insurgents and militias\u201d. They said mostly residents of Bumbol, Tarar, Gerery and Gayoma are fleeing.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice Mohamed Bishara Dousa ordered the formation of joint regular forces to be commanded by the prosecutor of the Special Criminal Court for Darfur Crimes.<\/p>\n

Dousa urged the president to issue a decision on this regard, noting that all forces should be able to arrest \u201canyone, whatever their charges are\u201d.<\/p>\n
