The site is near Ed Daein, the capital of East Darfur.<\/p>\n<p>This figure has been released by the camp\u2019s High Committee responsible  for receiving new arrivals. A committee member,&nbsp;Omar Issa Ahmed, said that conditions are \u201cvery bad\u201d and that only 3,000 of them have been provided with food or non-food items so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are crowded into one location at the reception centre which measures 150 metres X 100 metres. There is a decline in health services at the centre, and people are especially susceptible to diseases with the summer approaching,\u201d he told Radio Dabanga.<\/p>\n<p>The committee appealed to \u201call organizations\u201d working in the field of humanitarian aid in East Darfur to take urgent action concerning the displaced persons in El Neem.<\/p>\n<p>They are requesting the provision of services, and appealed to government agencies in the state, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and the State Government to visit the reception centre and provide services and care to their fellow displaced who now number 103,000 people or 16,000 families.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last few weeks approximately 50,000 people from near Labado and Muhajeriya have been forced  to flee their homes as a result of fighting in East Darfur, which began  on 6 April, UN OCHA said.<\/p>\n<p>The fighting began when rebel forces from the Sudan Liberation Army-Minni Minawi (SLA-MM) attacked the strategically located towns.
