Other Misseriya militiamen saw an opportunity to loot the market, but rapid intervention of the police and locality commissioner prevented it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">The police soon arrived on the scene accompanied by the commissioner in military uniform. They fired into the air and launched tear gas canisters to evacuate the market. The market was then secured and protected without any casualties, sources said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Witnesses alleged that on the same day, a newly displaced man, Ahmed Mohammed Ishaq, was wounded in his hand during attack by Misseriya tribesmen on the western camp for displaced persons.
