A militia commander, a junior officer, and two other militiamen have been killed and several wounded in a reported \u201cinternal clash\u201d between Abbala militias in Nertiti locality in Central Darfur on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that Commander Yusuf Al Tahir, First Lieutenant Ahmed and two others died in a clash between an Abbala group led by Tahir, and a separate Abbala group, between Nertiti city and Thur.<\/p>\n

The witnesses said that after the engagement, the wounded were taken to a hospital in Nyala to receive treatment.<\/p>\n

In a separate incident in Wadi Salih locality, two policemen died on Thursday when a convoy transporting food, goods and the police payroll was attacked by militants between Garsila and Deleig.<\/p>\n

A local witness told Radio Dabanga that police officers Abbas Ali and Juma Habani died at the scene.<\/p>\n
