The Sudanese Air Force is allegedly carrying out \u201calmost daily\u201d air raids on East Jebel Marra, North Darfur. On Thursday, 12-year-old herder Musa Suleiman died, and about 47 livestock were killed by one of the bombs.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told Radio Dabanga that Thursday\u2019s air raid, allegedly by a Sudanese Air Force Antonov, hit the area of Hafara in East Jebel Marra, where Musa was herding his cattle. The witnesses complained that the locality \u201chas been under constant and almost daily bombardment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farmer Kaltoum Haroun Yahiya was killed outright when a bomb hit her farm at about midday on Sunday 21 July. No further casualties have been reported, but witnesses say that many of the people have taken cover in the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n

The mountains to the south and west of Shangil Tobay in Dar El Salam locality were reportedly also \u201csubject to aerial bombardment\u201d on Wednesday. On the same day, five busses were allegedly robbed at gunpoint on the road between Nyala and El Fasher, capitals of South and North Darfur.<\/p>\n
