On behalf of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF), the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) has released a list of 12 members of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) they claim were taken prisoner during a clash at Dilling locality in South Kordofan on 27 July. Dilling is located 135 km from the state capital Kadugli. <\/p>\n

The list includes Capt Yasser Mohamed Abdullah, of Al Kadaro of Khartoum North; Lt Hammad Mohamed Abdul Samad Hammad of Kosti Alsikka Hadeed district; Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Shinto of Widey district in Dilling; Sgt Ahmed Hammad Wardi Hammad of Widey district in Dilling; Mahmoud Ali Abdullah Mahmoud of El Gedaref Shuack Al Mirebi district; Sgt Sherif Mohamed Al Tani Saleh of Al Muck district north in Dilling; Abdulhalim Abdel Fattah Rizik Allah of Sinnar Al Bersi; Walid Al Nour Abubakar Younis of El Gedaref El Silik district; Bishara Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Tayor, from the Popular Defense Forces of El Obeid district of Al Wuhda; Muhanna Abdulrahman Muhanna of Babanusa Abuallakri district; and Yusuf Mohamed Abdul Karim Hajro of El Gedaref Shuack Al Gilaia district.<\/p>\n

The JEM has also complained about \u201cthe on-going maltreatment and physical and psychological torture exercised by the administration of Kober prison in Khartoum against JEM war hostages\u201d.<\/p>\n

Jibril Adam Bilal, the spokesman for the movement, told Radio Dabanga that Al Azer Abdalazir Nour Ushar has been in solitary confinement for more than a month. \u201cHe has been deprived of sleep and prayer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe prison administration is taking vengeance against the war hostages whenever they get news about the victories of the Movement against Khartoum regime forces,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Bilal called on local and international human rights and humanitarian organisations to intervene and support the prisoners.<\/p>\n

Radio Dabanga was unable to independently verify these reports. <\/p>\n
