A displaced man and a 12-year-old child have died in two separate shooting incidents on Monday and Tuesday at a Zalingei camp in Central Darfur state.<\/p>\n

The coordinator of the camps for the displaced at Zalingei told Radio Dabanga that the child, Ahmed Musa Adam, was killed outright on Monday when pro-government militiamen allegedly opened fire inside the camp.<\/p>\n

The coordinator says that a report was filed with the police, but they have apparently \u201cnot moved to track down and arrest the perpetrators\u201d.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Abdullah Osman was tending his farm near to the camp when he was shot dead and robbed, allegedly by pro-government militiamen.<\/p>\n

The coordinator called on Unamid to \u201cplay its role in the protection of displaced persons,\u201d pointing at an increase in incidents of this nature.<\/p>\n
