The headquarters of the medical NGO M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res\/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Tawila was reportedly attacked on Tuesday, the second such attack on the compound in less than two days.<\/p>\n

A witness told Radio Dabanga that two militiamen opened fire on the headquarters at 11pm, seriously injuring two guards. However, the source said that the security situation has prevented Adam Hamid Ahmed and Adam Issa Said from being transferred to hospital in state capital El Fasher.<\/p>\n

The gunmen allegedly made off with a vehicle belonging to the NGO.<\/p>\n

As previously reported by Radio Dabanga, on Saturday, after threatening the security guards at gunpoint, militiamen managed to enter the building and took \u201ccomputers, mobile phones, medical supplies, and a vehicle belonging to the NGO\u201d, a source recounted.<\/p>\n

On that occasion, the vehicle was found and recovered just outside Tawila, as it apparently broke down due to a technical fault.<\/p>\n
