During a clash between military intelligence officers and the paramilitary troops of the Central Reserve Forces (nicknamed Abu Tira) four people were reportedly killed and nine injured nine at El Bawaba El Shargia in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.<\/p>\n
An eyewitness informed Radio Dabanga that a narcotics team consisting of security men and military intelligence officers on Tuesday around 6pm raided a group of Abu Tira forces. The Abu Tira group was reportedly involved in drugs trade in the neighbourhood of El Bawaba El Shargia in El Fasher. <\/p>\n
The witness said that the Abu Tira troops reacted to the raid by using RBG-6 and machine guns, which resulted in the death of two security men and two military intelligence officers, the injury of none others, and the destruction of a vehicle of the security team.<\/p>\n
Kabkabiya<\/strong><\/p>\n In the locality of Kabkabiya, North Darfur, nine people were reportedly killed in separate incidents during the past two days.<\/p>\n The commissioner of Kabkabia locality, Adam Mohamed Adam Salih, reported to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) that a quarrel started between people of two different tribes at the cattle market in the centre of Kabkabiya. The quarrel, about narcotics, resulted in the killing of three people.<\/p>\n The conflict extended with the arrival of relatives of the dead, firing their guns at random at the market, which left nine people dead. The Security Committee of Kabkabiya succeeded in containing the conflict by separating the two parties.<\/p>\n The Commissioner expressed his regret for the victims among the two groups.
