The curfew was imposed more than 10 days ago following a popular uprising after a popular community figure was killed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a citizen in Nyala said that the security forces took advantage of the decision to impose a curfew to implement \u201cthe most horrendous acts against citizens who are delayed in the early evening, because of transportation delays or any other circumstances&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He reported that those arrested by the authorities for violating the curfew are beaten and tortured, and detained inside the football stadium of Nyala. In the following morning they are brought to trial.
