The lawyer is suffering from a heart disease and high blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sit-in<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Troops of the Sudanese National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS)&nbsp;allegedly assaulted and beat female relatives of detainees, in order to break up their sit-ins in front of NISS premises in Khartoum and Khartoum North.<\/p>\n<p>One of the relatives, Sandra Faroug, and the wife of detainee Dr Amjad Farid, told Radio Dabanga that they started with the sit-ins in front of the NISS buildings on Saturday. Notwithstanding the beating by security troops, they intend to continue with the sit-ins until their relatives are released. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both of them confirmed the presence of at least 1,100 people in the prisons of the national capital.
