Farmers in the area of Ghibeibeesh, el Radoom locality in South Darfur, complain about huge swarms of birds ravaging their farmlands.<\/p>\n

A farmer from the area told Radio Dabanga that many fear the birds will devastate their crops, which are ready to be harvested. They have tried to combat the birds, but he says there are too many.<\/p>\n

The farmers appealed to the authorities to assist as soon as possible and save the agricultural season.<\/p>\n

A resident from Ghibeibeesh told Radio Dabanga that the entire locality of el Radoom suffers from a shortage of doctors, medical assistants, and pharmacies, explaining that many resort to raditional treatment methods.<\/p>\n

He explained that the schools lack furniture; most of the students have to sit on the ground during lessons.<\/p>\n

He described the security situation in the region as bad, demanding the government mdevelop plans to protect the citizens.<\/p>\n
