Teachers in Tullus locality in South Darfur have not accepted the salaries for October because they are incomplete. So, they have continued their strike over the non-payment of their salaries for the eleventh day in a row.<\/p>\n

A teacher said that the salaries that arrived at Tullus locality were missing five per cent, which the locality was supposed to add.<\/p>\n

But Tullus does not have the money to complete the five per cent, which led the union of teachers to reject the receipts of payment and stick to the strike until the disbursement of full salaries comes.<\/p>\n

In an attempt to resolve the issue, the union agreed with the locality commissioner to form a committee of with teachers. They will go to Nyala city to solve the roots of problem.<\/p>\n

In the localities of Buram and El Radoom, teachers and other staff members have stopped their strike for the same non-payment. Their salaries have reached the locality and were paid.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson of the union in Buram said teachers began to receive full salaries, so they went back to work.<\/p>\n
