The main civil hospital in Juba has been overwhelmed by an influx of gunshot victims after fighting broke out in the city. <\/p>\n

Dr. Ronald Makmot told Radio Tamazuj at around 4pm that there were probably more than 100 wounded.<\/p>\n

He declined to comment further because he said he was pressed for time owing to the dire medical situation at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Another source inside the hospital confirmed at 7pm that more wounded have been arriving since then.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe situation is terrible. Everybody is wounded in the head, in the chest,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

There are few doctors and nurses on duty owing to the fear of movement and the curfew imposed from 6pm onwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mortuary is full. Sometimes people carry their relatives out, but it is full,\u201d added the source inside the hospital.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the wards are full,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Doctors and nurses have not been able to comment on record because of the presence of security forces.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole place is full of security personnel moving here and there,\u201d a source explained to Radio Tamazuj.<\/p>\n
