The Association of Small-Scale Farmers could not afford to pay for the fuel needed. The employees at the water pump station have not received their salaries either.<\/p>\n<p>The residents of the camps are suffering badly, the sheikh said, because they are unable to buy drinking water from commercial providers. The commercial price of two jerry cans of water has reached SDG0.50 while a barrel of water now costs SDG2 ($0.35).<\/p>\n<p><em>File photo by O.
